In 2018 and at the end of 2017, we celebrated the long-awaited Murillo Year, commemorating the fourth centenary of the birth of this brilliant artist. Murillo was one of the most celebrated representatives of the European Baroque, creating new artistic canons that he skillfully used to reach all audiences, transcending physical, psychological, and temporal boundaries to reach our own time.
We have been able to enjoy our visits to spaces such as the exhibition Murillo and the Capuchins at the Museum of Fine Arts; Murillo and his stele, in the Santa Clara space and; Murillo, the Gaze of Holiness, which can still be visited in the Cathedral of Seville.
Currently, we offer our special tour of Murillo at the Fine Arts Museum and Murillo, the Gaze of Holiness in the Cathedral.
