A universal figure, <strong>Bartolom\u00e9 Esteban Murillo<\/strong> He was a unique painter in his time and has been imitated ad nauseam even to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Murillo and the Capuchins<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the past year, from <strong><em>Culturea Experience<\/em><\/strong> We offer guided tours of the great painting exhibition. <strong><em>Murillo and the Capuchins<\/em><\/strong>, led by our art expert and official tour guide, Mar\u00eda Ferr\u00f3n. This exhibition was held in the <strong>Museum of Fine Arts<\/strong> of Seville for several months. The Museum was key, the origin and final point of many of the works of Murillo and of great Sevillian and foreign artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"271\" height=\"186\" src=\"https:\/\/cultureaexperience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Museo-BBAA.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2737\"\/><figcaption>Museum Church with works by Murillo.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reunion of 24 pieces that the brilliant painter created for the <strong>Capuchin Monastery<\/strong> In Seville, the entire work was commissioned by the Capuchin monks and, due to the twists and turns of history, ended up separating and moving away from the city, eventually reaching the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a <strong>a highly anticipated and exciting moment<\/strong> For Seville, the people of Seville, and any lover of <strong>art<\/strong>. From a very young age he was linked to art by important masters and after a personal life marked by misfortune, he decided to dedicate himself fully to art and art teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Great Exhibition of Murillo<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seville has celebrated numerous events related to this Murillo Year, but the most important were the Murillo and the Capuchins exhibition and the one we are currently enjoying in the Andalusian capital: <strong><em>Murillo, IV Centenary<\/em><\/strong>. This is turning out to be the big event <em>culminate<\/em> of the fourth centenary of the birth of this great Sevillian artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seville receives numerous visitors to commemorate the work of our great figure. Murillo welcomes us to his home, Seville, which is at the doorstep of that great museum that is the third most important art gallery in Spain, the <strong>Museum of Fine Arts<\/strong>. This is the <strong>first anthological exhibition <\/strong>of his art that will remain open from November 29, 2018 to March 17, 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Curated by Ignacio Cano and Valme Mu\u00f1oz, the museum&#039;s director, the exhibition comprises 55 canvases, including three from the museum&#039;s own collection and others from various sources: Germany, France, England, the United States, and Mexico. These works are on loan from private collections and Spanish and international institutions, such as the Prado Museum in Madrid, the Tate Gallery in London, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
