I'm sure you'll be impressed by its size and beauty. Plaza de Espa\u00f1a has many interesting features and stories.<\/span><\/p>\n
This square was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929<\/strong> to celebrate the discovery of America by the Spanish conquerors. <\/span><\/p>\n
To face the river and the arrival of ships from America, the plaza was designed in a semicircular shape. <\/span><\/p>\n
In Plaza de Espa\u00f1a you can admire: <\/span><\/p>\n

  • Channels<\/strong> (you can rent a boat) that reflect the magnificent Mudejar architecture. <\/span><\/li>\n
